Job Description:
As a Vulnerability Management Specialist at Yoda Tech Pte. Ltd., you will be responsible for managing security vulnerabilities across multiple technologies and a dynamic environment, including infrastructure and applications. You will play a key role in determining the risk rating of vulnerabilities to business assets and assist in mitigating these vulnerabilities according to the SLA matrix. You will also help improve and automate the existing vulnerability management lifecycle and provide technical support for vulnerability management projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage security vulnerabilities by reviewing data from multiple sources to determine the risk rating of vulnerabilities to business assets.
- Assist with the mitigation of vulnerabilities according to the SLA matrix.
- Assist in improving and automating the existing vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Provide support and resolution for scanning and vulnerability remediation reporting issues.
- Work with the business to effectively communicate the risks of identified vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support for vulnerability management projects.
- Provide analysis and validation post-remediation, identify opportunities for improvements, and offer innovative solutions to overcome roadblocks.
- Perform on-demand scanning activities of both corporate and cloud environments.
- Ensure scan results are presented in appropriate dashboards, reports, and forwarded to other data systems as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with automated vulnerability management tools and processes.
