Role Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Implementation Specialist with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM), specifically Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and integrating ServiceNow solutions to optimize business processes and asset management strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM modules, focusing on HAM and SAM, to meet business requirements and optimize operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including workflows, forms, scripts, and user interfaces, to align with business processes.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and reporting.
Provide expert guidance on best practices for ITSM and ITAM (HAM & SAM) processes, including asset discovery, inventory management, and license compliance.
Perform data migrations, integrations, and upgrades within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Develop and maintain documentation for all implemented solutions, including technical specifications, process workflows, and user guides.
Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of ServiceNow solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM modules.
Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions and processes.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in implementing and integrating ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM (HAM & SAM) modules.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including configuration, scripting, and automation.
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Asset Management, and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting to create custom solutions and integrations.
Excellent understanding of ITIL best practices and their application within ServiceNow.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience with data migration, system integrations, and upgrades within the ServiceNow platform.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITAM, HAM, or SAM is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
