We are seeking a proactive and visionary Marketing Manager – Capital Raising to join our women-led organization. In this role, you will develop and execute innovative marketing strategies, manage the marketing budget, and build and oversee a third-party team (including contractors and agencies) to attract and engage potential retail and institutional investors. Your efforts will directly support our goal of raising $25 million annually by generating qualified leads for our capital-raising initiatives.

We are looking for a hands-on marketer who is detail-oriented and highly analytical, ready to roll up their sleeves in a collaborative startup environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, takes initiative, and is eager to contribute to all aspects of our marketing efforts.

This position reports directly to the VP of Operations, providing an opportunity for significant impact and visibility within the company.

We are seeking a proactive individual who is not just a delegator, but a hands-on doer who takes initiative and gets things done. As a startup, we need someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to our projects and goals.

Goals/Metrics:

  • Increase booked appointments from 7 per week to 14 per week within 6 months
  • Expand the marketing contact newsletter list from 100 new contacts per month to 200 per month within 12 months
  • Increase email open rate by 25% within 6 months
  • Use a data-driven analysis to understand competitors’ social posting frequency and quality to determine 7e’s planned outward social media communications, and develop a set of reasonable and stretch objectives to compete in this space

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop Visionary Marketing Strategies
  • Conceive and implement innovative marketing plans focused on investor acquisition and lead generation.
  • Budget Management
  • Define, allocate, and manage the marketing budget to optimize spend and maximize ROI.
  • Build and Manage Third-Party Team
  • Identify, hire, and manage external resources such as contractors, freelancers, and agencies to execute various marketing initiatives.
  • Align with Company Objectives
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure marketing efforts align with overall company goals and brand messaging.

2. Campaign Development and Execution

  • Multi-Channel Campaigns
  • Design, oversee, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, digital advertising, content marketing, and social media.
  • Content Strategy
  • Develop a compelling content strategy that resonates with potential investors and positions the company as a thought leader.
  • Utilization of Advanced Tools and Technologies
  • Leverage tools such as Go High LevelMake.com, and AI technologies for efficiency (while ensuring final content is human-crafted).

3. Data Analysis and Optimization

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with sales and investor relations teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and effective nurturing of potential investors.

6. Compliance and Regulatory Awareness

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing roles focused on lead generation and campaign management, preferably within financial services, alternative investments, or real estate investment firms.

  • Proven experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum ROI.

  • Ability to recruit, manage, and motivate a third-party team of contractors, freelancers, and agencies.
