Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Email Designer to join our team. As an Email Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create visually engaging, high-performing email templates while contributing to our growing component library. Your designs will focus on driving clicks and sales, aligning with campaign strategies for each client.

Role Responsibilities

– Create visually appealing and conversion-focused email designs using Figma

– Collaborate with Strategists to implement design directions based on strategy briefs

– Contribute to and maintain a library of reusable components in Figma

– Ensure all designs adhere to client brand guidelines and best practices for email marketing

– Develop fresh and engaging designs for each campaign to avoid visual fatigue

– Incorporate GIFs and other engaging elements where appropriate

– Implement revisions promptly based on feedback from Strategists

– Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of design work

Required Skills and Qualifications

– Proficiency in Figma for email design

– Strong understanding of email design best practices and limitations

– Ability to create visually appealing designs that drive conversions

– Experience with creating and maintaining design systems or component libraries

– Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines precisely

– Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

– Familiarity with responsive design principles for email

Nice-to-Have Skills

– Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms

– Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email

– Understanding of e-commerce marketing strategies

Tools We Use

– Figma: Primary tool for email design and component management

– Slack/Email: For communication and collaboration

– Notion: For task management and project tracking

– Klaviyo: For occasional email template implementation (not required for all designers)

Performance Expectations

Once onboarded and familiar with our processes, the expectation is to complete at least 6 email designs per day. Higher output directly correlates with opportunities for salary growth.

How We Work

– Collaborate closely with Strategists, Copywriters, and other team members

– Participate in the review and revision process through Figma

– Continuously improve and expand our template library

– Adapt to client-specific style preferences and requirements
