Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in the payments industry to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth by providing exceptional service and support to our valued partners.
This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in Puerto Rico or be willing to relocate. A relocation package is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Onboarding & Training: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand and maximize the value of Bluebanc’s services.
- Problem-Solving & Support: Proactively address client inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate challenges when necessary, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, compliance, and operations teams to deliver on client needs and align on strategic goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services to clients that enhance their experience and meet their needs.
- Payments Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the payments industry to advise clients on best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the payments industry (card issuing, payment processing, or similar). Banking experience alone is not sufficient.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Client-Focused Mindset: Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled at anticipating challenges and finding solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Location Requirement: Must reside in Puerto Rico or be willing to relocate. A relocation package is available for qualified candidates.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, payment platforms, and other relevant software.
