Job Description

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team. Key Responsibilities

• System Security – Manage and enforce security best practices across servers, networks, and applications. Conduct regular security audits and manage vulnerabilities
• Backup and Recovery – Design, implement, and manage backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity
• Infrastructure Maintenance – Perform regular maintenance on Linux/Ubuntu servers to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability
• Proactive Monitoring and Alerts – Implement and configure monitoring tools to set up downtime alerts and health checks, ensuring prompt detection and resolution of issues
• Monitoring and Response – Actively monitor and address system alerts, ensuring minimal downtime. Be available during off-hours for critical incidents
• System Health Optimization – Continuously analyze system performance, logs, and resolve infrastructure-related issues to prevent downtime
• Networking & Proxies – Ensure seamless network operations, focusing on proxy setups, load balancing, and traffic routing
• Golang Development – Collaborate on internal tools and services written in Golang, particularly related to proxies and networking

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven Experience in DevOps – Extensive experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, Golang, and system security
• Backup and Recovery Expertise – Ability to design, implement, and manage backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity
• Proficiency in Monitoring Tools – Skilled in setting up and managing monitoring tools and downtime alerts
• Networking Knowledge – Strong understanding of networking protocols, particularly in relation to forward proxies and load balancers
• Golang Development – Experience in Golang development for infrastructure and automation tasks
• Containerization Tools – Knowledge of tools like Docker
• Analytical Skills – Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
