Business Development Representative (Remote)

We’re seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and driving growth in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Market Expansion:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
• Generate leads through networking, market research, and industry events.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and delivering tailored logistics solutions.
• Negotiate and close contracts with a focus on long-term partnerships.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations.
• Provide insights to management on emerging opportunities and threats.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to design and implement strategies.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new clients.
• Provide feedback to operations and customer facing team members to optimize client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience:

• Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the 3PL, logistics, or transportation industries.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with logistics tools and platforms is a plus.
