Role description

To develop activities that ensure a consistent revenue growth and contribute to the delivery of quality service in line with corporate business plan. To manage passenger and/ or cargo sales activities to maximize revenue growth and increase productivity. 

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum Batchelors degree relating to Finance or Commercial activities. 
• Minimum 8 years experience in Sales, or Commercial activities. 
• Strong knowledge of Air Transport regulations and airline activities. 
• Experience in negotiating and handling commercial contacts/ contracts. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Manage commercial activities and extend ASLA’s portfolio to ensure consistent revenue growth.
• Implement and lead sales and marketing activities in close collaboration with the company’s key stakeholders to support the achievement of defined targets. 
• Monitor performance of the charters (financial / operational) and if needed take relevant corrective actions. 
• Manage the requisite suppliers ensuring value for money for the company and compliance with agreed service level agreements. 
• Ensure that all operational activities and key accounts are managed in a timely and accurate manner in line with departmental guidelines and if necessary propose improvements in order to increase client satisfaction. 
• Analyse market empty sector availability and sectors that support the air charter sales products, develop and manage the selling of a range of products and ensure that the fleet is optimally utilised.
• Provide Senior Leadership with regular updates on commercial activities. 
• Deliver on ad-hoc requests as directed by the Managing Director.
