Software Engineer (Remote)

Symplicity Brasil is looking for a Software Engineer focused on Backend PHP to join our team and contribute to the end-to-end development of our innovative solutions.

What You’ll Do:

· Develop and maintain features for our software products.

· Follow best practices and methodologies in software engineering.

· Research and evaluate solutions to meet project requirements effectively.

· Plan user interfaces in collaboration with UX and Design teams.

· Perform live coding sessions as part of collaborative development.

· Work with databases and develop web features using PHP technologies.

· Integrate and maintain APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity across systems.

What We’re Looking For:

· Proven experience with PHP technologies.

· Advanced English proficiency.

· Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software design patterns.

· Proficiency in using Unix/Linux command-line tools.

· Familiarity with version control systems, especially GIT.

· Conversational proficiency in English for collaboration with global teams, with opportunities for growth through our full-time English improvement program.

Bonus Points for:

· A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related fields.

· Experience working with Python.

· A professional background in software product companies.

· Hands-on experience in web development.

· Previous work experience in Agile development environments.

· Knowledge of JavaScript.

· Skills with SSH and VIM.
