- Barns Lane Farm, Coolum Beach (Agri-tourism precinct) – Our team was the proud recipient of the Planning Institute of Australia’s 2023 Performance & Innovation in Development Award for our work on this project.
- 30 Station Road, Indooroopilly (major mixed-use development, including four towers – current ‘State Facilitated Development’ project).
- Budds Beach, Surfers Paradise (major mixed-use development, including four towers and comprising a total of 1,200 units).
- Statutory Review of the Bundaberg Regional Council Planning Scheme.
- Statutory Review of the Rockhampton Regional Council Planning Scheme.

About Our Opportunity
This newly created role is an opportunity to join a dynamic, expert town planning consultancy engaged in the development of diverse and exciting projects across Queensland. This role will be located in our Brisbane office located at 340 Adelaide Street.
In this role you will assist with the following (as suitably targeted to your existing and desired expertise, and to your specific interests):
- Preparation, lodgement and management of development applications;
- Strategic planning and planning policy projects;
- Review of planning schemes and interpretation of legislation;
- Provision of planning advice across a broad range of local government areas and land use and development types;
- Involvement in the statutory development assessment process;
- Planning research and investigations; and
- Interaction with clients, consultants and authorities as appropriate.
As part of this role, the following competencies and skills are highly desirable:
- An understanding of town planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them;
- Foundational knowledge of the Queensland planning framework;
- Ability to clearly convey information and ideas;
- Be proactive and enthusiastic, with a keen interest to learn and be challenged;
- Ability to critically analyse;
- Good organisation and time management skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
- Ability to work in a focused, collaborative and diligent manner with other team members.
