Our platform automatically matches patients to trials; accelerating patient matching, enhances trial feasibility, site selection, and patient recruitment. We specialize in providing software for patient population analysis, site feasibility and selection, study participant identification, and study participant matching to both site networks.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Software Engineer with 3+ years experience in QA and test engineering focused on data extraction and data pipelines. As a python test engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our automated python test suite for our ETL pipeline and web platform. You will also be responsible for manual testing of data processing and frontend applications. You will work on a variety of projects that require strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members inside and outside of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy a scalable python test suite that tests processing of large amounts of data in high performant scenarios
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with the engineering team and external partners to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Identify and help troubleshoot performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs in Python applications and services
• Perform root cause analysis on client reported bugs and provide engineering team the details required to fix problems
• Ensure that all applications are secure and follow best practices for data privacy and protection
• Mentor and guide junior developers to improve their technical skills and knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in test driven development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 3+ years of experience in software testing environments
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience testing deployed applications in AWS

Also nice to have experience with:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Bitbutcket pipelines and deployment infrastructure
• Experience with Security testing
