Australian Homeware Enterprises(AHE) is a leader in the home improvement industry and has an opportunity for the right person to join our team. We are seeking two highly motivated Account Executives with proven track records, to join our growing and successful sales team. You will be reporting through to our Region Sales Managers in Qld, servicing our leading brands within Australia’s largest Hardware and Gardening chain of stores.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing an existing customer portfolio
- Support the timely release of new products to market to meet and exceed sales expectations;
- Maintain strong relationships and excellent communication lines both internally and externally, while influencing the direction of in-store product location and displays;
- Maintain in-store displays and merchandise and conduct stock relays whilst meeting all customer vendor refill requirements;
- Promote existing and new products by conducting in-store training;
- In consultation with your Region Manager, analyse sales performance and execute sales strategies and in-store promotional activities;
- Attend designated trade shows and events in your area.

Skills and Experience required to thrive in this role are listed below, though having previous sales experience within the paint and hardware industry as a Territory/Account Manager, Sales Representative or Merchandiser is highly regarded.
- Highly organized and practical planning ability.
- Attention to detail with a desire for punctuality and being able to work autonomously.
- High degree of self-motivation
- Strong customer focus and work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and love of teamwork
- Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

This position does require regular travel and some overnight stays away from home.Â
