Web Developer (Remote)

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced website developer with a passion for creating mouth-watering UI/UX experiences in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry. You will lead the design and development of the website, crafting a visually stunning and user-friendly online presence that showcases our culinary offerings and drives customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design and develop a visually appealing website that showcases F&B brand, menu, and culinary experience

·      Create user-friendly UI/UX experiences that increase customer engagement, online ordering, and reservations

·      Develop responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible websites that meet industry standards

·      Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure high performance and reliability

·      Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our online presence

Requirements:

·      3+ years of experience in website development, with a focus on UI/UX in F&B – Food and Beverage experience extremely important, candidates without this will not be considered

·      Portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for restaurants, cafes, car washes, or food service businesses

·      Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web development frameworks

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·      Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with our culinary team

·      Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways

·       Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices

·       Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics

·       Certification in web development or a related field

F&B UI/UX Expertise:

·      Experience with online ordering systems, menu engineering, and culinary content presentation

·      Knowledge of F&B industry trends, consumer behaviour, and design principles

·      Ability to craft intuitive UI/UX experiences for online menus, ordering, and reservations

·      Conduct user and product research

·      Create prototypes and improve them with new data

·      Setting up of architecture to identify the buyer persona

Payment Integration Experience:

·      Experience with direct debit solutions and payment integrations (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Square)

·      Knowledge of payment gateways and APIs

·      Ability to implement secure and efficient payment processing systems

·      Knowledge of payment processing systems, including (e.g. Online credit card processing, Recurring payments)

·      Ability to implement secure and efficient payment processing systems (e.g. (SSL) certificates, (PCI-DSS) compliance)

·      Experience with payment integration APIs (e.g. RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs)

·      Ability to troubleshoot payment integration issues (e.g. Debugging API calls, Resolving payment processing errors, and Optimizing payment flow)
