Job Title: Finance Manager.
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal
candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive business
performance and support decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills,
leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and practices in
the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Analysis: Review financial data for trends, variances, and insights to improve cash flow,
profitability, and performance reporting. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
reports. Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
2. Team Management: Coordinate between the accounts assistant and outsourced team, ensuring
timely, accurate data input and reporting, while optimizing the use of Dext and Xero. Lead and
develop a finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Provide training
and mentorship to team members.
3. Report Accuracy: Implement controls to improve the quality of reports and refine processes for
better data capture and automation. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
(IFRS, GAAP). Manage tax compliance and reporting
4. Financial Modelling: Develop cash flow forecasts, budget models, and scenario planning tools to
assist with business decision-making and long-term growth strategy. Lead the budgeting process,
ensuring alignment with business goals. Monitor budget performance and provide insights on
deviations.
5. Communication: Provide senior management with clear financial insights, regular updates, and
actionable recommendations based on analysis and models. Collaborate with senior management
and other departments to support strategic initiatives. Act as a liaison with external auditors and tax
advisors.

Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional
accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
o Proven experience of working on Microsoft Dynamics tool is Must.
o Proven experience in a senior bookkeeping or accounting role, with a strong
understanding of UK Accounting standards and practices.
o Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and
develop staff.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
o Proficiency in software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Dext) and Microsoft Office Suite
(especially Excel).
