Description

As the Senior Content Writer & Editor, you’ll be responsible for crafting, refining, and perfecting content for various marketing materials, RFPs, proposals, and other business documents. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, seasoned writer with a strong background in creating persuasive and clear content that aligns with our brand’s voice and resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Write and develop high-quality content for marketing materials, including blogs, whitepapers, brochures, social media, email campaigns, website copy, and more.
RFP & Proposal Writing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help craft, refine, and structure responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with requirements.
Editing & Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Research & Strategy: Conduct industry research to stay up-to-date with trends, client needs, and competitor activities, applying insights to content strategy and proposal writing.
Project Management: Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and balancing priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure consistency across all company communications.
Brand Voice Development: Help define and maintain the company’s tone of voice across all written content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and marketing objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years in content writing and editing, preferably in a senior or specialized role.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience with InDesign is a plus.
Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and best practices.
Experience with RFP or proposal writing in a business setting preferred
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types and styles.
