Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in construction to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee various phases of hotel renovation projects, ensuring that each initiative aligns with brand standards and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of hotel renovation projects, from scope development to completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with Assistant Project Managers (APMs), Superintendents, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Develop and monitor phasing schedules, ensuring timely communication of updates, delays, and potential conflicts.
  • Maintain precise records and documentation, facilitating seamless project execution.
  • Manage the pre-construction phase, including budget analysis and change order management.
  • Coordinate the receipt, inventory, and installation of FF&E and materials.
  • Conduct regular meetings with hotel ownership to ensure alignment and compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Oversee project closeout processes, ensuring all requirements are met and documented.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills that foster collaboration and alignment among project stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities to effectively address challenges and drive progress.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with tools like BlueBeam, PlanGrid, and Smartsheet is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience managing hotel renovation projects or occupied tenant improvements is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
