Qa Automation Engineer With Python (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and automate test processes for various data storage solutions, including clustered and network file systems
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Pytest
• Write integration test scripts to be used in Continuous Integration (CI) systems
• Debug scripts on actual hardware to identify and resolve issues
• Work closely with software developers within the Scrum framework to ensure the highest quality of software development and delivery
• Continuously improve automation strategies and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

• Background in software development with at least 2-3 years of experience, specifically in distributed storage systems
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of Linux & Networking
• Skills in testing distributed file systems, network protocols and parallel file systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to learn and adapt quickly to new technical subjects and environments
