Ecommerce Merchandising Manager (Remote)

Primary Functions

This position reports to the Head of Sales and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of HF Marketplace, the eCommerce platform of HF Foods. The role involves analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to strategically manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and profitability while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, including new product introductions and market gaps.
• Evaluate product performance, identify underperforming items, and curate a product mix that caters to customer needs.
• Set competitive pricing strategies and develop promotional plans.
• Collaborate with web development and design teams to ensure product listings are accurate, informative, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to execute strategies effectively.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and the online B2C landscape.
• Expertise in the Asian Specialty category, with the ability to source products at competitive prices.
• Solid knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis.
• Bilingual in Chinese is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in eCommerce and/or Category Management.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education And/Or Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
