Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Paid Social Manager to lead a team and manage high-profile clients in the CPG and electronics industries. This role will combine hands-on client management, strategic paid social execution, and people management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in paid social advertising, audience strategy, and marketplace presence, with a focus on delivering measurable results for enterprise-level accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management (85%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients like (CPG) and (D2C), ensuring consistent communication and responsiveness.
- Develop and execute mid-funnel focused paid social campaigns, leveraging tools like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Craft innovative strategies for dynamic ads, audience planning, and leveraging client personas in-platform to drive results.
- Collaborate with clients on audience strategies, measurement plans (e.g., conversion lift, sales lift, MMM/MTA), and marketplace selling for platforms such as Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
- Stay at the forefront of platform trends, suggesting first-to-market opportunities for client success.
- Conduct high-level measurement activities, utilizing our proprietary measurement platform and third-party researchers to track and analyze performance.
Team Management (15%)
- Manage and mentor a remote team of associates and specialists, fostering open communication and rapid support for day-to-day tasks.
- Set clear goals, create growth plans, and provide career development opportunities for direct reports.
- Provide guidance on client deliverables, offering expertise and strategic direction to ensure excellence.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 5–7 years of paid social experience with expertise in Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Proven track record working with CPG and DTC clients, managing enterprise-level accounts with budgets in the seven-figure range.
- In-depth knowledge of dynamic ads, audience strategy, and marketplace selling (e.g., Target, Walmart, Amazon).
- 1–2 years of experience in people management, fostering team growth and accountability.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and present clear, actionable recommendations to clients.
- Advanced measurement skills, including experience with conversion lift, brand lift, MMM/MTA, and sales lift studies.
- Exceptional communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with electronics industry clients.
- Familiarity with selling on platforms like Kroger and other marketplaces.
- Residing in or near NYC, with the ability to meet clients in person.
