Responsibilities:
- Technical PM Duties:Technical Project Management: technical project management using demonstrated experience and proficiency in database management using SQL Server, software development using .NET framework, systems integration, and data conversion. Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, understand their requirements, and provide guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Portal and Web Development: Utilize tools and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular, React, or .NET Core to develop dynamic web solutions.
- Accessibility: Ensure all web and portal solutions comply with WCAG standards for accessibility, meeting legal and organizational requirements.
- Agile project management: use agile project management principles and tools like Devops, Jira to manage the project, work closely with technical team, client interface, develop status reports, manage deployments and production issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of current project management processes and provide recommendations for their improvement, incorporating industry best practices and lessons learned.
- Project Oversight: Manage and oversee small to large multiple complex projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established timelines and budgets.
- Work Assignment: Assign work to project team members, considering their skills, expertise, and availability, to effectively meet project or program objectives. Ensure tasks are distributed appropriately and monitor progress.
- Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence related to project activities. This includes creating meeting agendas, transcribing meeting minutes, and ensuring effective communication channels between stakeholders.
- Business / Presales Technical PM Duties:Capture Management: In the assigned areas, lead the identification and qualification of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other opportunities aligned with the company’s strengths and strategic goals. Develop and execute capture strategies, including win themes, value propositions, and teaming arrangements.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with technical teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to design innovative IT solutions tailored to client needs.
- Proposal Development: Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, including planning, writing, reviewing, and submitting high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.
Remuneration:
- Fixed salary and performance and goal based for Presales.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline. A master’s degree and/or project management certification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of database management using SQL Server, software development using .NET framework, systems integration, and data conversion
- Good knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation
- Web portal: Good knowledge of we portals, performance, human centric design.
- Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in supervising or overseeing IT-related programs or projects. Background in working in a very technical environment.
- Certification: Certification in Project Management, Agile or a similar qualification is desired, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management methodologies.
- Agile Experience: Strong experience with Agile delivery methods is required, and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
- Software Implementations: Experience in managing large-scale software implementations is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle complex projects.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of being results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to set and achieve aggressive goals.
