Project Overview: The Integrated Research and Analytics Platform (IRAP) is a state-of-the-art, cloud-based Data and Analytics platform designed to provide seamless data management and analytics capabilities. It empowers Board researchers to efficiently search data catalogs, access data, and collaborate with peers to drive impactful research outcomes.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join the IRAP team. In this full-time role, the Scrum Master will guide the development team in utilizing the Scrum framework to ensure the achievement of project milestones and goals. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about Agile principles and driving team excellence.
Responsibilities: As a Scrum Master, you will:
Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead PI/sprint planning, daily stand-ups, PI/sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure optimal team performance and alignment.
Remove Roadblocks: Assist the IRAP team in identifying and eliminating obstacles, coordinating with external teams or stakeholders as needed, and escalating critical issues for resolution.
Coach and Mentor: Provide coaching to the team on Agile best practices, foster collaboration, and enhance communication among team members and stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product Owners: Partner with product owners to scope, plan, and prioritize current and future work, while ensuring a well-maintained backlog.
Support Project Management: Generate monthly status updates, reports, or dashboards to keep stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
Azure DevOps Management: Maintain and optimize Azure DevOps tools to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
Operational Documentation: Develop, organize, and maintain high-quality operational support documents that address cloud infrastructure requirements. Collaborate with analysts, managers, and team members to consolidate, normalize, and synchronize data across multiple sources, ensuring materials are accessible via designated SharePoint sites.
Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess:
Agile Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, with a deep understanding of Agile values and principles.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate, facilitate, negotiate, and coach effectively.
SAFe Knowledge: Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with a relevant SAFe certification.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Scrum techniques, including refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity tracking, and retrospectives, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
Leadership Experience: A minimum of 7 years leading projects or key business initiatives.
Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and delivery teams, to drive problem-solving and planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing cloud-based analytics platforms or similar technical projects.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable Agile tools.
Strong background in creating operational documentation and managing collaborative SharePoint sites.

Pay: $50.97 – $55.00 per hour
