Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and the use of advanced construction management software. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of project coordination within the construction industry. This position oversees RFP’s, bidding, planning, scheduling, budgeting, costs and controls, contractor negotiation, selection and oversight, as well as ensuring high standards of quality and safety, in a timely and professional manner consistent with company policy and regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Develop, plan, update, communicate and implement master project schedule
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Buyout project with Trades/Vendors
- Oversee daily Project activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and schedules
- Manage Project budget, minimize and track expenses; provide finance reporting
- Manage Project schedules, cost controls, risk analysis and permit processes
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to facilitate project execution.
- Implement project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Utilize construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Communicate effectively with back office for billing and new subcontractor setups
- Manage direct reports and ensure proper performance on their associated projects
- Ensure state, local and federal safety and environmental requirements are met
- Follow existing (or work with management to establish new) internal procedures for the lifecycle of a project – from bidding through job kickoff, billing, change orders and closeout
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management, addressing any potential issues or changes in scope.
- Assess completed projects and report on results
Experience
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry is essential, 10+ years.
- Strong knowledge of contract management practices related to construction projects.
- Experience in construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management preferred
- Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading and interpretation is required.
- Experience with project coordination across various teams and disciplines is crucial.
- Proficiency in using construction management software tools to streamline operations.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record with periodic checks (required)
- May be required to pass various background / fingerprint checks in order to perform work for specific clients
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics
