Job Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote)
Job Description:
1. Software Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.
- Implement and handle ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
- Ensure the software meets performance, quality, and security standards.
2. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Utilize Splunk, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Identify and resolve software issues and bugs promptly.
3. Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to capture requirements and provide updates.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Ticket and Request Management:
- Respond to and resolve tickets and requests in a timely manner in ServiceNow & JIRA
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other developers, QA teams, and IT staff to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in MongoDB, C#.Net, ASP, and Core .NET.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
- Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, Service now and other monitoring tools is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Certifications in relevant technologies.
Salary and Other Compensation:
- The annual salary for this position is between $60,000– $93,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
