Responsibilities

Prepare accurate Financial Statements monthly and annually.
Prepare and assist external Accountant with EOFY Financial Statements.
Undertake all Accounts receivable and Accounts payable duties including raising and distribution of invoices and statements, debt collection, reconciliations, reporting etc.
BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment on ATO portal
Process payroll, superannuation payments and all associated reporting independently and accurately for a small amount of employees
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Data entry and reporting
Cash Flow management and projections
General administration support
Assist with budget preparation.
WIP schedules and preparation.

Requirements

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and report development
Possess a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Pride yourself on your high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a similar role as a senior accountant or assistant accountant
Applicants will need to have the unrestricted right to work in Australia to be eligible for this role.
