Job Title: Android Developer freelance Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless, efficient, and user-friendly mobile experiences for Android users. Key Responsibilities: 1. App Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications. Collaborate with designers and product managers to define app features and functionality. Develop and integrate APIs to enhance app functionality. Optimize applications for speed and efficiency. 2. UI/UX Implementation: Implement beautiful, functional, and intuitive UI designs in accordance with Android guidelines. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 3. Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, bug fixing, and optimization for Android applications. Use debugging tools to resolve app performance or functionality issues. Ensure the application is responsive and adheres to best practices for Android development. 4. Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD): Participate in the setup and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines. Ensure smooth app releases and regular updates. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and QA engineers. Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback. 6. App Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update apps to add new features, improve functionality, and ensure compatibility with the latest Android versions. Requirements: 1. Skills & Qualifications: Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK. Experience with Android development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Android design patterns. Knowledge of Google Play Store submission guidelines, app publishing, and versioning. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. 2. Experience: Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role. Solid understanding of Android’s design principles and application lifecycle. Experience with Android architecture components like MVVM, MVP, etc. 3. Nice to Have: Experience with Firebase and other backend-as-a-service platforms. Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform. Understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and multithreading in Android apps. 4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
