The Sales Manager at True Ice Cream Company will lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, overseeing the sales process, and building strong relationships with customers, distributors, and retailers. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the ice cream industry to drive business growth and brand presence in the market.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and sales targets across various markets (retail, food service, wholesale, etc.).
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define sales objectives and action plans.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with product launches, promotions, and brand positioning.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales executives and representatives to ensure high performance and goal achievement.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitor progress, and provide guidance on overcoming challenges.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to develop the team’s skills and knowledge.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including retailers, distributors, and foodservice partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
- Address client concerns and ensure excellent customer service standards, leading to high satisfaction and retention rates.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and sales plans in alignment with company goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
- Evaluate sales trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure continuous growth and market dominance.
- Market Expansion & Product Development:
- Identify potential new markets, geographical regions, and distribution channels for the company’s ice cream products.
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to launch new products and tailor offerings to meet customer demand.
- Plan and execute in-store merchandising, promotions, and product sampling programs to boost brand visibility and sales.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries, product availability, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with marketing to align on promotional campaigns, branding, and communication strategies that support sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with the finance team on pricing strategies, discount structures, and credit policies.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the sales departments budget effectively, ensuring that resources are used efficiently to meet targets.
- Approve and oversee sales expenses and promotional budgets, ensuring cost control.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay ahead of market developments.
- Adjust sales strategies based on competitor movements, economic shifts, and changing customer preferences.Role & responsibilities

Pay: ₹15,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
