ELGi Compressors Europe is a growing player specialized in the manufacture of industrial compressors is looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Area Sales Manager – South of Sweden/Denmark.
As the company is growing quickly around the world, and especially in Europe, we are looking for someone who have the skills to develop the business in this region, promoting the whole portfolio of the company and leading a network of distributors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for the region for the complete portfolio of Air Compressors
- Promote sales primarily through distribution network
- Perform product and sales training for dealer sales team
- Develop direct sales on Group selected key accounts
- Ensure customer satisfaction though timely and accurate response. This includes participating to issue resolution with other services (technical, audit, finance…)
- Implement company strategy through yearly targets. This includes proposing yearly growth plan for the area of prime responsibility
- Understand and implement company HSE policies
The position reports to the Regional Manager Nordics.
Desired Candidate Profile:
– Should have minimum 5 years’ experience in the target market for air compressors.
– Should have successfully converted and managed distributors.
– Combine a strong personality (Leadership) with a strong customer-oriented attitude
– Use business English as a second language on top of Swedish. Danish is a clear asset.
– Demonstrate persistence while being result driven
– Be a good team player
– Work autonomously from home with frequent travelling in Area of Responsibility
Qualification: Technical background such a Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to work in Sweden
Experience:
Sales experience in industrial equipment (B to B) is prerequisite. Sales experience of complex solutions in the Air Compressor market is clearly an asset. Sales experience in capital equipment like generators, Vacuum, boilers, industrial products, and rotating equipment is also appreciated. Experience in distribution network management is a distinct advantage.
