Your Role

As an Associate Product Manager (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our product lifecycle, ensuring efficient documentation, facilitating communication between teams, and supporting product discovery initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to evolve into a Product Manager role, contributing significantly to acto’s strategic vision.


Your mission


  • Documentation Management:
    Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for product features, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders and prepare detailed briefs and documentation for the delivery team to facilitate seamless execution.

  • Product Discovery:
    Assist in organizing and conducting user interviews and research sessions and document insights and findings to inform product development and strategy.

  • Process Optimization:
    Organize and optimize delivery team workflows, including managing tools like Linear to track progress and identify bottlenecks. Implement best practices to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.

  • Analytics and Reporting:
    Generate and analyze reports on product usage and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Serve as a liaison between product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive collaborative problem-solving and innovation.


Your profile: What you need to succeed


  • Education and Experience:
    A degree in Business or Economics, Business informatics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics or similar and relevant work experience (or internship or similar) in SaaS software development in product management or a related area.

  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools:
    Experience working with documentation tools and project management software (e.g., Linear, Notion, Figma).

  • Strong Analytical and Technical Skills:
    An analytical or technical background (e.g. familiarity with analytics/data analysis, dashboard design, SQL) along with a passion for all things data.

  • Excellent Communication:
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German (at least B2-C1) with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and operational issues.

  • Hands-on and Adaptive Mindset:
    The ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

  • Detail-Oriented and Problem Solving Skills:
    The ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment and identify problems and discrepancies, independently perform research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions, all while keeping a focus on quality and accuracy.
