Job Summary
The Brand Assurance Facilitator’s role is to coordinate product development approvals and asset management collection, to facilitate accurate representation of the game IP in licensed products, including video games and consumer products.
The Brand Assurance Representative will serve as the primary contact on their projects, while also coordinating with internal and external stakeholders/partners.
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Enabling internal stakeholders maintain IP integrity of licensed projects throughout the development process. Triage incoming communications from external partners. Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and standards.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align on the scope and creative deliverables of each project, with especially fast and accurate turnaround on promotional product deliverables.
- Clearly present the creative approval process, feedback checkpoints, proposed scope of creative assets, and timeline expectations to partners during video kickoff calls
- Track the status of partner reviews and approvals of a large quantity of gameplay and marketing assets, along with game builds, for multiple projects simultaneously from project kickoff to release and throughout the term of the license
- Takes lead on uploading new assets and organizing IP assets and legal text, sharing as needed for partners
- Manage and participate in internal feedback process with IP owner/manager to ensure notes are addressed and sent back to the licensing partner efficiently
- Coordinate with IP owner/manager to ensure assets are staying on track for release and accounting for partner review and feedback
- Risk Management: In conjunction with Interactive Licensing Manager, identify and mitigate potential risks associated with licensed content, including legal issues, brand conflicts, and reputational concerns. Implement safeguards and protocols to protect both the game and the licensed brands.
- Manage written communications with internal and external partners in a timely manner providing updates and outlining clear requests and deadlines on asset reviews and feedback
- Update and maintain a tracking schedule for internal visibility of current status, risks, and next steps of all in-progress projects, ensuring that sufficient project milestones are in place to meet planned deadlines.
Essential Skills
- High standard of English with excellent spoken and written communication.
- Strong organisational skills, and ability to understand who needs to do the approval (Licensing Manager/Studio lead/Legal/Franchise Development)
- Ability to be discrete with commercially sensitive information.
- MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, as well as file hosting and sharing software experience.
Desirable Skills
- Fluency in French
- Previous experience in the brand licensing industry
- Knowledge of and passion for the table games industry, pop culture fandoms and media franchises.
