Position Summary/Objective
We are in search of a motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in driving business and process analysis activities within the Life Sciences sector. We value strong analytical skills, a relevant background, effective presentation abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
As the Business Analyst for Life Sciences, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business, technology, and migration consulting projects, with a primary focus on Regulatory Affairs. This role involves gathering business and functional requirements, conducting workshops to define new business processes, and supporting data architectures. Additionally, you will drive user adoption through training and other change management activities. Collaborating with the migration and technical services business units may entail documenting content and data migration transformation and mapping rules, as well as supporting validation testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Specific areas of expertise include end-to-end Regulatory Information Management (RIM) implementation, submission management and publishing, IDMP data analysis and mapping, and unstructured/structured content management.

Principal Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you must be willing and capable of fulfilling each essential responsibility effectively:
Conducting process analysis
Analyzing business and functional requirements
Performing function point analysis to identify efficiency opportunities
Documenting source to target content and data mapping and rules within the Mapping Specification
Conducting Data Quality Review and Gap Assessment to support migrations
Assisting in change management and communications activities
Cultivating a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
Demonstrating strong communication skills through regular written and verbal presentations, technical documents, and reports
Adapting to team dynamics, taking on various roles as needed based on project requirements
Exhibiting flexibility and multitasking capabilities in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Contributing to the strategic elements of migration plans to provide a clear and concise description of the overall migration process as part of the business deliverables
No overall supervisory responsibilities for practice members
Availability at our Danbury, CT office as required
Willingness to travel to client sites across the US and potentially internationally when necessary
Competencies
Minimum of 5 years of business/process analysis experience within information management consulting
Proficiency in project management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen intellect
Experience with validated systems implementations
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at all organizational levels
Exceptional decision-making, judgment, and analytical abilities
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional virtual teams
Expertise in Regulatory Information Management (RIM)
Certification in leading R&D technology platforms is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to travel to client sites across the US
