Our company was founded in 2019 in Taiwan, and our R&D Team has 20+ years of experience developing smart devices, IoT devices, and a consumer electronic system integrator. The US Headquarters is based in San Jose, CA.

Compensation Package: Base salary is $85,000-$100,000 plus bi-annual performance bonus creates potential total earnings of $130,000/year, plus car allowance and business expenses paid.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team. As an Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the company’s products and/or services. Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue goals by assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. There will be a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. You will be expected to engage with all levels of the customers’ organizations including technical, operations, and management. You may be required to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations. Responsibilities

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Develop new customers and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
  • Follow up on lead generation from our marketing and inside sales team and properly record notes and follow up tasks in our CRM.
  • Provides daily / weekly input on all pipeline activity (opportunities) and managing the stages of the deal.
  • Works National and Regional industry trade shows as assigned by management.
  • Manage A/R within your region along with credit manager.
  • Manage territory expenditures at or below budgeted levels.
  • Minimum of 100 customer contacts per month (meetings, demos, e-mails, phone calls, etc.)
  • Travel requirements estimated at 70% including overnight travel.
  • Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales.
  • Develop target dealer list, work with sales and marketing teams to create and covert sales leads.
  • Maintain customer contacts and demonstrates detail in follow-up with customers to maintain relationship.
  • Stay informed on industry-specific trends and landscapes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-years in business development (golf, or outdoor power equipment, or construction equipment).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Basic ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Zoom and CRM tools.
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Confident while at the same time possessing self-awareness with the ability to keep one’s ego in check by being sincerely approachable and personable.
  • Enjoys interaction with others socially and professionally.
  • Clear, common-sense thinker with critical reasoning skills. Able to listen and acquire critical information.
  • Team oriented persona. Embodies the essence of “we” over “me” orientation.

Personal Attributes

  • Must be a self-starter and can work alone and with teams.
  • Outdoor Power Equipment Industry work experience is not required but a big advantage.
  • Willing to travel up to 70%.
  • Domestic air and highway travel
  • Resides in assigned territory (FL) and maintains a home office
  • Regular extended use of the telephone and computer
  • Rapidly changing demands, schedules, and deadlines
  • Valid US drivers license is required
