ABOUT THE ROLE
Your job is to identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, carry out client meetings, and close deals. This is a ‘hunter’ role, and the commission structure on offer is very exciting—it’s paid monthly, uncapped, and has no threshold. You’ll join a very successful group of BDMs, and will be one of the juniors on the team. You’ll work full-time in the office until you’re up and running, and then once you have proven yourself, work-from-home options are available.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and networking.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
- Lead the end-to-end process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development within ad sales. You might be from a print background, B2B, TV or digital. In any case, you’ll possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and internal teams. You will thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, coupled with a results-driven mindset and a keen focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven track record of success in business development within an ad sales environment.
- Ideally, a strong understanding of digital advertising, SEO, and website development (but this is not required).
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- You’ll be results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
