Role Overview

As a Software Engineer specializing in Node.js and the MERN stack, you will be responsible for developing scalable web applications and services. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, user-friendly software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance skills and the team’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Node.js and the MERN stack.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
