The Hydrogen Group, Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a talented and competitive Sales Representative with a proven track-record of Class 8 OTR Fleet truck equipment sales experience. This sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for 2025. You must have a “rolodex” of past customers who will welcome a call from you concerning a new patented diesel fuel saving system that guarantees a minimum 10% savings on fuel costs. This system is state-of-the-art in that it creates hydrogen while the vehicle is in motion and sends it to the engine via the air intake. There it co-combusts with diesel in the chamber. The resulting combustion:

  • Reduces diesel fuel consumption by a minimum of 10% (guaranteed in writing!).
  • Reduces toxic emissions by up to 50%, which reduces amount of diesel particulates that clog DEF filters.
  • Diesel engines perform more efficiently, which increases the power and life of the engine, while lowering maintenance costs.
  • Our system does not invalidate any OEM warrantees.
  • Our system can be installed on any Class 8 tractor within a 2-to-4-hour time period and requires very little maintenance thereafter.

SUMMARY:  The Sales Representative is responsible for procuring orders, while providing excellent customers service to customers. This position requires high accuracy and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify customer needs; sell products that maximize The Hydrogen Group’s product offerings.
  • Partner with outside sales personnel to manage customer relationships directly with product specifications and selection.
  • Promptly respond to telephone, e-mail, and social media inquiries from current and potential customers.
  • Generate sales quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders with accurate pricing and instructions.
  • Prepare and submit Bid and RFP packages as required.
  • Establish and negotiate pricing and product availability with sub-contractors, such as distributors and vendors.
  • Determine and coordinate appropriate delivery and installation based on customer needs, cost effective delivery, and product margin.
  • Establish and maintain relationships, both in person and via telephone, with distributor and vendors to establish special pricing and delivery.
  • Assist in the development of and participate in special customer referral and vendor sales incentive programs to increase and develop sales.
  • Attend one or two trade shows annually and interact with customers and vendors.
  • Secure outside sales representatives, vendors, and distributors.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
  • Preferred candidates will have 5-year sales and customer service experience with a background in the Class 8 trucking industry.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  This position has no supervisory responsibility.
