Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this key leadership role will have responsibility for overseeing and implementing the daily operations strategy of our medical organization and its various departments. 

The successful applicant will be an integral part of the management team and will be responsible for day-to-day operations for all client services while contributing to the organization’s future planning. 

We are looking for an individual who will complement our already great team and will bring energy and fresh ideas to the organization. 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of various departments: human relations, marketing, finance (financial management), IT, etc.
  • Foster collaboration between departments, staff leadership, and other services to support improvements in patient outcomes
  • Manage workforce decisions and resource allocation for the organization
  • Develop strategic plans to improve quality of care, generate revenue, and accomplish organizational objectives
  • Support departments in maintaining regulatory compliance (compliance and risk management) 
  • Analyze budgets and financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Technology leadership- Developing and implementing the clinics overall technology strategy and roadmap
  • Process improvement and optimization- Analyzing existing clinic processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
  • IT Governance and oversight- Defining IT policies, standards, and best practices for the clinic
  • Executive leadership- Setting organizational vision and goals

 

The ideal application will have: 

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years in the clinic/telehealth clinic sector highly regarded as well as relevant tertiary qualifications in health management, business administration, or a related field
  • An understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the current and future telehealth environments
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences
  • Precision-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all operational activities along with an action-orientated strategic mindset and planning skills with demonstrated ability to adapt when needed
  • Aptitude to effectively manage financials (ensuring efficient use of resources), budgets (adherence to financial targets), and compliance requirements. Strong commercial acumen with an inherent competitive nature for improvement
  • A collaborative and responsive approach to leadership, and the ability to successfully lead teams and drive results. A proven track record of developing capability and performance across teams 
  • A growth-oriented mindset with excellent networking abilities, and a proven record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Adept leadership, influencing, management, team building, communication, consulting, and negotiation skills with the ability to help co-create a high performing culture
  • Strong customer focus, including an understanding and passion for human-centered operating models that span both customer and employees
  • Agility and responsiveness and being comfortable adapting quickly to changing priorities
