Responsibilities:
As a Software Co-op Student, you will be working with a diverse and experienced team of engineering professionals, you will follow Scrum practices while learning and supporting the Software Development Life Cycle from our technical leads. This position follows a Hybrid working model with a mix of home and on-site work. 3 days a week onsite required.
In this role you will:
Develop software for Linux operating systems
Collaborate closely with mixed engineering disciplines in an Agile development environment
Develop Airworthy SW according to RTCA/DO-178C DAL D
Write software requirements based on System level requirements and design documents
Prepare and review software design documents
Perform design/analysis and implement code based on requirements
Participate in code reviews
Prepare and review test procedures and conduct testing
Identify defects, resolve issues and perform verification
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Software/Computer Programming
Strong communication, both verbal and written
Interest in learning about Software Airworthiness processes
Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment
Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
