Who we areAeon Timeline is an application that enables anyone to create andinteract with data-rich timelines. It began as an app for creative writers to map out the order ofevents in their stories. Over time, it has evolved into a flexible app thathelps people organise complex timelines and narratives, both real andfictional. The app has been picked up by other industries and for other usesorganically, and it is now also used by:ScreenwritersAcademics and educatorsLawyersInvestigators and law enforcementProject managers and consultantsGame designers plus tabletop gamers…and more!We are a very small team, determined to do great things. We willlaunch our SaaS platform this year, and are excited to grow beyond ourexisting desktop application. We are also entirely bootstrapped, whichfocuses us on staying connected with our customers, and on building theright things for the right reasons.We are a remote team and use Zoom and Slack throughout the day. Weenjoy the odd meetup in Melbourne to stay connected.What you’ll do in this roleWe’re looking for a content and community manager to enablecustomers to get the most out of our app. You will play an imperative partin the feedback loop, helping both engage with and ensure success for ourcustomers, and helping us learn more about their needs. In this role you will:Immerse yourself in learning about our key segments, includingcreative writers, legal professionals, and educators.Work collaboratively with our marketing specialist and team todevelop our content strategy.Create product guides, both generalised and targeted towardsspecific audiences.Create useful content to continuously empower and educate ourcustomers. You will help guide and experiment with what formats andchannels are best suited for different audiences.Interact with customers on our forums, email, and social media,plus other online communities. You will be expected to be able to engagewith customers to recommend how to achieve what they’re after, as well asencourage engaging and meaningful conversations. Note you will nottypically perform technical support such as diagnosing bugs.Recognise recurring themes in feedback or smart and interestinguses by customers, and raise them with the team. Help track customer communications, and community and userengagement metrics.Work collaboratively with the team on refining and improving ourcustomer journey, including developing personalised and relationshipbuilding campaigns.Work with customers to capture testimonials and customerstories.What we are looking forAs a small team, we’re looking for someone who can wear manyhats, but who also understands their strengths and their limits.
