Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Pantry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing high-quality pizzas, salads, fried items, and desserts. They should be proficient in working with fresh ingredients and maintaining consistency in recipes, while thriving in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Pantry Cook, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations and the delivery of exceptional dishes to our guests.

Duties & Responsibility
• Prepare and assemble pizzas, salads, fried items, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and organization in the pantry and workstations.
• Monitor stock levels of pantry items and assist with inventory management.
• Maintain a fast pace without compromising on the quality of food prepared.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.

Qualification & Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Expertise in preparing pizzas, salads, fried items, and desserts.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and handling fresh ingredients.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 kg) as required in the kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
