As a CDG MarCom copywriter/proofreader temp you’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio across five business units including clinical immunology, clinical sciences, immunohematology, infectious diseases, and molecular. Your contributions will involve work on copy projects for social media, digital projects, animations, webinars, and MS365 SharePoint projects as well as project management activities to assist our designers, digital developers, and management teams fulfill marketing job requests more effectively. You will participate in weekly team meetings and may be asked to work independently or as part of a team.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Copyedit and proofread key marketing assets to adhere to editorial style guides and legal, regulatory and brand guidelines
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers on copy project
- Assist department Program Manager or other team members in project management responsibilities as needed
- Adapt and be flexible in our agile department as priorities shift and teams work to better fulfill evolving workload
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or a related major
- 4+ years of previous copywriting experience or related work
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with knowledge of Chicago Style, APA, and other editorial style guides along with legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines
- Experience in working with clinical diagnostics or life science projects is required
- Independent, self-starter demonstrating initiative with exceptional skills in communication, time management, and organization
Location: Bio-Rad is pleased to offer the flexibility of Remote Work for this role anywhere in the U.S.
Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $50-$65 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
