Summary

The Creative Services Specialist primary responsibility includes managing social media platforms which includes but is not limited to increasing post engagement, supporting SEO strategy, and driving traffic to HMTXCommercial.com. The position includes graphic design responsibilities as directed by the Strategic Director of Sales and Marketing to develop engaging graphics and content to promote the HMTX Commercial brands in both digital and analog spaces. The Creative Services Specialist must be able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining composure and professionalism. The Creative Services Specialist is also a steward of the Commercial and HMTX Industries brands, working to ensure that our brands and supporting sub-brands are maintained according to established brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in product development and go-to-market strategy by creating various marketing materials including but not limited to sample labels, brochures, and folders.
  • Provide production ready artwork to print vendors and factory and provide approval of proofs prior to printing.
  • Develop various assets and content for social media posts, web campaigns and advertising.
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy with input from the Strategic Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Utilize content management systems to schedule posts, automate posting, and analyze effectiveness of social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with HMTX communications personnel to develop a social media calendar that supports the social media objectives of HMTX Industries.
  • Responsible for maintaining HMTXCommercial.com website and conducting website audits to ensure correct product assortments, brand updates, and collateral updates.
  • Incorporate posting methodologies, supporting tower SEO strategy for HMTXCommercial.com.
  • Analyze metrics to gage effectiveness of SEO strategy utilizing Google Analytics.
  • Create layouts for sample devices, brochures, and other marketing collaterals
  • Assist with planning and execution of HMTX Commercial events including tradeshows, client events and sales presentations.
  • Assist various teams with updating technical documentation such as warranties, tech data sheets, installation guides, etc.
  • Qualifications And Experience

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint. (Intermediate Level)
    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop (Intermediate Level), InDesign (Advanced Level), Illustrator (Advanced Level) and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Strong proficiency in Squarespace
    • Strong proficiency in Canva
    • Typography Marketing. (Advanced Level)
    • Understanding of SEO. (Intermediate Level)
    • Understanding of working with brand channels.
    • Understanding of web design across web, mobile, and app platforms, utilizing web design tools (i.e., SqaureSpace). (Intermediate Level)
    • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (i.e., Craft) to update HMTX Commercial websites. (Intermediate Level)
    • Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and/or After Effects. (Intermediate Level).
    • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or related field or 3-5 years relevant practical experience.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Must be able to travel overnight as needed – 0 -10%.
    • Must be able to work in an office setting with prolong periods of sitting/standing.
    • Must be able to work in an industrial or warehouse setting, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, or walking as needed.
    • Work schedule is generally Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST; with flexibility as agreed on with manager.
