About the Role

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an energetic and ambitious Customer Service Officer to join our team. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forwarding operator or customer service professional looking to grow and advance their career in freight forwarding.

Based in the heart of the Sydney CBD, you will join a passionate and supportive team that has a wealth of experience and knowledge that will help bolster your own experience and take your career to the next level.

As a key member of our team, your daily responsibilities include forging and nurturing client relationships, and supporting and collaborating with our sales, operations and management teams. You will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive customer service, from initial quotes to the efficient coordination of shipments and order management. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a market leading client experience.

With your experience in freight forwarding, you will know this is a hands-on role where you often have to multitask in a busy environment. • Have prior experience as an import operator and/or customer service
• Be well organised, with a strong attention to detail
• Be able to effectively manage your time to meet deadlines
• Enjoy helping customers, with a drive to deliver outstanding customer service
• Be an excellent verbal and written communicator over phone and email
• Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently
• Have basic computer skills, with Cargowise, ICS and 1-Stop knowledge and experience (or similar) highly desirable
