A health insurance organization is looking for passionate and enthusiastic customer service representatives to join their team! This individual will be answering inbound phone calls in a high-volume call center role by assisting callers with their open enrollment inquiries, answering questions about their application status, and any general questions.
***MUST BE A RESIDENT IN THE STATE OF COLORADO***
Responsibilities:
- Answering general insurance enrollment questions, non-financial assistance eligibility, assisting with any enrollment changes (individual changes, plan selection alternatives, family status, and other insurance and/or ACA related topics)
- Complete accurate data entry of contact with customers in computer systems
- Utilize provided resources to review relevant customer information and resolve customer questions or concerns
- Troubleshoot technical issues based on strong understanding of process, policy, and systems
- Conduct research as necessary to effectively resolve customer situations
- Adhere to state and federal policies, procedures, and expectations to meet performance objectives in service, quality assurance, and productivity
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- MUST BE A RESIDENT OF COLORADO (Required)
- Consistent attendance is an essential requirement to perform job expectations in a high-volume call center environment and for 2-3 week training session
- Must have minimum of 1 year call center job stability
- Must have minimum of 1 year customer service experience (2-3 years is preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn/utilize other technology applications
- Must be plugged-in using ethernet cord with modem/router (No WIFI allowed)
- Home office setup away from distractions (quiet environment)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal telephone skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, adapt to a continually evolving environment
- Read, understand, sensitive and confidential data
- Knowledge of Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) is a plus!
- Learn skill to successfully work from home
