As a Customer Care Specialist for Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our valued client members with the enrollment process and updates to their healthcare and pension plans. Key Responsibilities

Quickly establish rapport with our clients, responding to their needs with compassion and exceeding their expectations through respectful, accurate, and timely interactions via phone, email, and instant messaging.

Customize your customer service approach to accommodate diverse communication styles and personalities, maintaining professionalism and diplomacy even during challenging conversations.

Handle confidential information with utmost sensitivity and discretion, adhering to HIPAA and Data Privacy laws as well as our company’s stringent data security requirements.

Skillfully translate complex health, welfare, and pension terms and processes into clear, understandable explanations and instructions for our clients.

Thoroughly comprehend client plan documents and online knowledgebase tools, gathering pertinent information to address immediate queries and anticipate future member needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Previous experience in Customer Service or a Call Center environment is preferred.

Attendance during the first 90 days is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French

Compensation And Benefits

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) plan with company matching is available for full-time employees who have completed one year of service.

This position is initially offered as a contract assignment, with the possibility of permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

During peak seasons, you will be expected to work a 40-hour week with the possibility of overtime upon request.

Off-season hours may range from 32 to 40 hours per week, depending on client needs.

You will enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located within a 2-hour radius of Tempe, AZ, to be considered. Local candidates will need to pick up equipment on-site for day one and may be required to attend meetings or participate in major projects in person.
