Would you like to be part of the team that carries out data analysis for the largest online shop in Switzerland? The business intelligence team for the online shop area aims to support and advance the further development of the online shop in a data-driven manner. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a motivated data analyst who will help the online shop teams make information-driven decisions and thus further promote the data-driven culture at Digitec Galaxus.
Deine Aufgaben
You support the online shop area in making data-driven decisions to further develop the shop.
You generate analytical insights regarding user behavior and derive hypotheses and recommendations for action for product development.
You develop KPIs in collaboration with product managers, developers and UX experts and make them accessible in a user-friendly manner via reports.
You lead the conception and statistical analysis of online experiments and derive recommendations for action from them.
Together with our data engineers and data scientists, you contribute to advancing our business intelligence infrastructure and enhancing its capabilities through overarching initiatives.
You translate the information needs from the business into tracking requirements and implement the tracking in collaboration with the developers.

Deine Fähigkeiten
Completed degree with a quantitative background or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in analyzing complex data sets, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Advanced know-how in extracting and processing data using SQL and Python.
Experience in the design, implementation and statistical analysis of online experiments (e.g. AB tests) and other methods for causal effect analysis.
Knowledge of using business intelligence software such as Tableau or Looker Studio to visualize data.
Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and software development practices (e.g., version control) is an advantage.
Taking calculated risks to create value and drive growth.
A willingness to challenge “how things have always been done” and propose more efficient, automated, or effective solutions.
