Our prospective client is seeking a Data Scientist to join a dedicated team in building future healthcare Cloud platform. This individual must have practical experience and knowledge to deliver products and services.
Our digital team is constantly developing and converting legacy processes to AI based healthcare products. This individual would be involved in model building through data driven insights and learnings.
Responsibilities:
- Solution, design and develop new ML/NLP models
- Design, train and implement ML/Deep learning architectures in multiple platforms like AWS, Databricks, etc.
- Establish evaluation metrics, analyze the performance, & brainstorm on future steps/expansion
- Perform EDA & data visualization to answer pressing business questions
- Build multi-feature ML classification model for various Clinical programs/Clients
- Solution, design and develop NLP model to work on unstructured medical records
- Deliver results with analytic insights, interpretations, and recommendations; presents in a professional manner with a high customer service focus
- Review analytic deliverables; identify and resolve data issues and provide recommendations for investigations
- Design, develop, evolve, and implement processes ensuring compliance with governance policies
- Propose new and state-of-the-art technologies and processes that will improve efficiency and enhance the reporting platform
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year degree or Masters equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, economics, business analytics or statistics
- 5+ years of experience in building machine learning/NLP models
- Experience with building and deploying ML classification model
- Strong understanding of Statistics, Segmentation, Clustering, Predictive models (liner, logistic), machine learning models (Random Forest, Ensemble) and deep learning fundamentals
- Fluency in Python and ML/NLP libraries (Tensorflows, Keras. Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, Spark NLP)
- Experience with distributed data warehouses or data lakes and Cloud databases
- At least an year of experience in working in Databricks platform for ML models
- Must be well oriented with healthcare data – Claims, ICD, Procedure codes.
- Familiarity with Payment Integrity – Clinical Programs is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and communication skills are needed.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, economics, business analytics or statistics; advanced degree is preferred.
2+ years of experience in building machine learning/NLP models
At least an year of experience in working in Databricks platform
Fluency in Python and related ML/NLP libraries
