Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate and improve the software development process
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ALB, Lambda, CloudFront, ElastiCache Redis, and SSM
  • Ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments using EKS and ECS
  • Set up, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure services such as RabbitMQ, RDS, and Elasticsearch
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Elasticsearch to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages like Bash and Python
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance
  • Provide secure access solutions using tools like OpenVPN
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker, particularly EKS and ECS
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ALB, CloudFront, ElastiCache Redis, etc.)
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, etc.)
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
  • Experience with database administration and optimization
