Devops Engineer (Remote)

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems critical to the success of our applications. Your expertise will ensure that our services are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, primarily leveraging AWS Serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).

Integrate and maintain BunnyCDN for efficient content delivery and caching solutions.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.

Implement and monitor logging, performance metrics, and alerting systems using Datadog or CloudWatch.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment processes and performance.

Enforce DevOps best practices, including security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Document workflows, configurations, and best practices to ensure operational transparency.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.

CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar tools.

CDN Knowledge: Familiarity with BunnyCDN or other content delivery networks.

Cloud Expertise: Proficiency with AWS services, especially Serverless architectures.

Automation Skills: Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.

Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.

Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote environment.

Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues efficiently.

Nice to Have

Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization for BunnyCDN and AWS.

Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis for database and caching operations.

Knowledge of synthetic testing tools like Datadog Synthetic Testing.

Security-focused mindset with experience in implementing DevSecOps practices.
