Why We Need you!

As a DevSecOps Manager within our Product Security team, you will lead efforts to embed security practices within our DevOps processes, working closely with development, operations and security teams to ensure robust and secure software delivery.

With a strong background in DevOps and Security, and with a proven track record of managing teams, you will be responsible for strategizing integration of security into the software development lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers and experts, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Oversee the Integration of security practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring that security is a fundamental part of the development process.
  • Drive the development and implementation of automated security tools/processes to ensure continuous security validation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to design, implement and manage secure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards and best practices across development and operations teams.
  • Work closely with Product Security leader to align DevSecOps initiatives with the overall product security strategy.
  • Champion continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices, processes, and tools.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of DevSecOps initiatives, roadmap, milestones and achievements to the Product Security leaders.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering or related roles, with at least 3 years of experience in leadership position.
  • Technical background in security technologies, including experience with DevSecOps practices.
  • Proficiency with security testing tools (e.g., Burpsuite, OWASP Zap, Nmap).
  • Platform or Application Engineering and Operational Knowledge in any of the CI/CD Tooling Technologies (JIRA, ADO, Jenkins, Github)
  • Proven Understanding & experience with Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/Docker/ Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of one or more IAC Tools (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, ksh Shell, groovy).
  • Strong scripting (e.g., Bash & Python) and automation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional (Preferred) Skills

  • Experience in threat modelling and risk assessment techniques.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and code review processes.
