The main purpose of the Account Manager position is to successfully deliver a range of end-to-end eCommerce and web design/development projects, retainers and tasks. They will play a key part in ensuring the broader client ecosystem operates smoothly and all tasks are delivered on time and within budget.
You’ll be managing a portfolio of exciting eComm brands, providing exceptional client relationships and ensuring the delivery of highest quality eCommerce websites and strategic digital marketing solutions.

Your New Role!
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and be the primary point of contact for your clients providing regular communication of progress of work.
- Organise, schedule and manage the flow of project and retainer work using our project management system.
- Project manage Shopify eCommerce website development projects.
- Manage clients retainer and project budgets and ensure all work is delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure an excellent level of client retention.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth within your accounts, and up-sell/cross-sell services accordingly.
- Thorough and accurate scoping and quoting of new tasks/projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in eCommerce.
- Provide strategic, commercial and valuable advice to clients in regard to solutions to meet their objectives/needs.
- Create and manage detailed documentation, briefs, requirements and communications notes for your client portfolio.
What you will need
- 2+ years of experience in account/project management, development, digital marketing, eCommerce or a related field.
- Exceptionally organised with unquestionable time management skills.
- Proven track record of managing accounts and relationship building.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- A natural affinity for and comfortable in selling.
- A solid understanding of (or a general passion for) the digital world, eCommerce, digital marketing and technological advancements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a strong customer focus.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- The confidence to manage conflict resolution.
- A fun, friendly and down to earth demeanour.
- You’ll need to be a people person and team player – we’re not looking for Maverick!
