Position Overview
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for digital marketing? HA is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the National Director of Marketing and Communications, you will play a vital role in shaping our digital marketing strategy and programs. Your responsibilities will include measuring the effectiveness of our digital marketing efforts, optimizing performance, and enhancing efficiency. You will dive deep into channel and audience data, managing research, reporting, and experimentation to drive growth and ROI. Your insights will influence our strategies for awareness, engagement, growth, and retention.
Qualifications
Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business, marketing, and/or communications preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
This position is headquartered at the HA National Headquarters in Bethesda, MD, but remote work options are available.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and manage the overall digital marketing strategy for the association.
Provide recommendations to enhance tactical and strategic campaigns.
Establish a measurement framework for all digital marketing initiatives.
Oversee, monitor, and report on performance across digital channels.
Manage paid digital marketing channels, including Google Ads and ad retargeting.
Stay updated on digital trends and identify opportunities aligned with association goals.
Manage social media properties, curate and publish content, moderate engagement, and optimize campaigns.
Track and analyze metrics reporting for all channels.
Collaborate with team members overseeing email management and development campaigns to align digital marketing strategies.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Deep knowledge of digital and web marketing tools, models, and technologies.
Excellent background in developing lead programs and maximizing conversions.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on digital marketing and paid web marketing experience.
Knowledge of standard and current PPC practices.
Experience with PPC reporting.
Proficiency in Google Ads and Google Tag Manager.
Strong experience in campaign creation, execution, and post-campaign analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Google Ads Display Certification
Google Ads Search Certification
Google Ads Measurement Certification
Digital Marketing Certification
Additional Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, iMovie, Meltwater, Feathr, Blackbaud/Luminate Online.
Social media asset production skills (GIFs, animated videos).
Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
